Parent, Jayne Harrison (Laura's mum) is selling packs of Christmas cards as a fundraiser for the Club.
Jayne is an agent for Phoenix Cards, and will be handing out information packs to everyone at classes as from Monday.
The coaches have some sample cards you can have a look at - please just ask. CETC will receive 30% profit on sales - so please support the Club by buying your cards from Jayne this year! All orders must be returned by Monday 23rd October.
To celebrate Halloween, CETC are having a FANCY DRESS WEEK, which will run in all classes from MONDAY 28th OCTOBER - SUNDAY 3rd NOVEMBER!
We are asking that you dress up to come to training (make sure it's suitable for trampolining - or bring training clothes) and bring £1 donation towards Club funds.
Coaches will be participating too and parents are encouraged to take part for drop-off and pick-up!!!(scary!!!)
CETC are running a Christmas raffle this year, to raise funds for the Club.
Parent (and fantastic organiser!) Jayne Clarke, will be in charge of distributing tickets, and all Club members - even the little ones - are all playing their part, by contacting local businesses in the hope that they can persuade them to donate some fantastic prizes for our raffle!
As part of fundraising towards our trip to compete in Loule, Portugal, we produced a silhouette quiz where photos of CETC trampolinists from the Scottish National Championships 2012, were made into silhouettes, with the aim to guess who each gymnast was.
23 sheets were sold and a total of 9 were returned with all answers correct. From these correct sheets, the winner was drawn.
Eleven competitors from CETC are taking part in the Clubs' first International Competition - The Loule Cup in Portugal on 5-7th September 2013.
In order to raise some funds to help the competitors, parents & coaches with travel & accommodation expenses, several fundraising events have been organised.
These are:
Dougie Harvey (Adult bouncer and Ava's dad) is taking part in the Traquair Mighty Deerstalker Challenge on Saturday 16th March.
We always thought he was mad - but this now proves it!! Dougie and CETC coaches have been rounding up sponsors for the past couple of weeks -
so thank you to everyone who has sponsored him to take part in this event. Dougie is very kindly raising funds for CETC - so thank you Dougie - & Good Luck with completing the event!
