New 2019 Computer Scoring System for CETC!

  • 7 January 2019

CETC have been running competitions/events since the Club started in 2006. Over the years, CETC has built up a bank of donated second -hand computers and printers which have been pulled together to create our computer recording system. Sadly, our 12 year old mis-match system completely crashed on us at Club Championships this year- resulting in a huge amount of stress, and only manual scoring on the day.
Thank you again to everyone who chipped in and actually managed to get the event completed under the circumstances!
However, we are thrilled to announce-  that thanks to some good Boxing Day sales and the fantastic fundraising efforts of our members and our fundraising coordinator Lesley Borthwick, we have managed to raise enough funds from: Tombola, Tuck shop and Kit sale stall at Club Champs and through the CETC Christmas Raffle, to purchase 5 new laptops and a wireless printer for our events, enabling us to actually run 5 panels with an up-to-date functioning computer scoring system in future!!
We are currently looking for donations of printer paper and HP ink cartridges (colour and black) in code 304 to get this all up and running.
Please let us know if you can help!!
Thank you to all our members for their ongoing support with Club fundraisers to enable this to happen!
