Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling World Championships 2018

The 2018 Trampoline, Double Mini & Tumbling World Championships take place in St Petersburg, Russia from the 7th – 10th November.
Huge Good Luck to CETC & BG DMT Squad member, CAITLIN O'BRIEN  who will compete in the Senior Womens DMT category (qualification rounds on Thursday 8th November)
You can follow the Finals action on the BBC Sport website, and on the BBC Sport app on the 8th, 9th and 10th November. The FIG will also be live streaming all finals on their YouTube channel.
Here's what's taking place on each day of the Championships:

November 7th
Individual men’s and women’s trampoline qualification, men’s double mini trampoline qualification, women’s tumbling qualification

November 8th
Men's and women’s trampoline synchro qualification, women’s double mini trampoline qualification, men’s tumbling qualification, all-around team finals

November 9th
Men’s and women’s trampoline synchro finals, men’s double mini trampoline final, women’s tumbling final

November 10th
Individual men’s and women’s trampoline semi-finals and final, women’s double mini trampoline final, men’s tumbling final

CETC Head Coach, Lauren Jeffrey will be heading out to St Petersburg on Sunday as GB DMT Team coach for the World Age Group Championships 2018, which follow the Worlds Competition this week.
Good Luck to all Team GB competitors in both events - especially the Scottish gymnasts- Caitlin, Kim & Ava!!!!!

Congratulations CETC - Thank you Midlothian Council!

Congratulations to the coach & gymnasts from CETC who were recognised for their achievements by Midlothian Council, at the Midlothian Sports Awards 2018 which were held at the new Newbattle Community Campus last night (Friday 26th October).
Senior coach, Kayleigh Kerr won the prestigious 'Midlothian Coach of the Year 2018' award for her outstanding contribution to trampolining & DMT, with gymnasts CRAWFORD GREIG, LEAH BORTHWICK & KELLY WYNNE receiving 'Junior Sports Personality Rising Star' awards for their continuing excellent competition NDP performances. Parents & Committee members attended the event with the nominated gymnasts, & a great night was had by all!
Commiserations to those shortlisted at the East Lothian Awards, again, none of whom were recognised at this bi-annual event held on the same evening in Musselburgh.
Well done to everyone who picked up an award in Midlothian - & well done to all those shortlisted for awards.

Good Luck to everyone from CETC who has been shortlisted for tonight's Awards ceremonies in East & Midlothian. The Midlothian Sports Awards 2018, will be held at the Newbattle Community Campus, and the East Lothian Celebrating Sports Awards will be held at the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh.

Halloween Party!!!

CETC are holding a fundraising Halloween Party on Friday 2nd November.
The spooooooktacular event will take place at the Newtongrange Star FC Social Club, Newtongrange, Midlothian, from 7.30pm.
Tickets are now on sale at all classes- so bring along all your family & friends! Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
Wear your scariest costumes- as prizes will be given for the best ones! Lots of fun & games to be had - so come along & have an awesome time!!
