BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016 - CAITLIN O'BRIEN - DMT SILVER MEDALIST

CETC are currently raising funds to replace two of the trampolines currently in use at The Lasswade Centre, to Ultimate 4x4 Eurotramps, which are used at most of the competitions, so it is really important that we give our youngsters access to the correct equipment in Club, to support their development and give them the best chance of success at competitions.
Gymnasts have been given a sponsor sheet & will set themselves a (challenging!) personal target, to work towards over the next few weeks. A percentage of the money collected by each gymnast will help pay their own personal class fees for next term - with the remainder collected going towards funds for the new trampolines!
We hope everyone will have fun setting and working on their targets, and hope that we can raise lots of money towards new trampolines!!! Thanks to everyone involved.

Coach Greig organised a 'Rag Bag' collection to help raise funds for the Club. Collection bags were distributed at classes, and lots of you filled bags with unwanted clothing items and handed them into Club.
The scheme recycles low-quality clothing items into mattress linings, cloths etc, and higher quality items to Africa and other developing nations to be re-used. Thanks to everyone who donated items to the Rag Bag collection - which raised £81.60 cash for the Club.
Thanks also to Greig - and to Claire - who helped out, and stepped in with some storage space at the last minute.

We are again having our CETC Christmas Raffle, which Club Chair, Claire Noble has kindly organised this year - with 3 fantastic hampers as prizes.
All donations for the hampers will be gratefully received (details have been sent out) & can be handed in to the coaches at any of the classes from now until Thursday 17th December 2015.
Tickets for the raffle have been distributed to members - but more can be purchased from Claire via the coaches at any time.
The winners will be drawn at the Christmas Party Day on Sunday 20th December. Good luck and thanks to everyone for their support!

Big thanks to all the parents and coaches who went along to help out at yesterday's (Saturday 28 November 2015) annual East Lothian Trampoline & DMT Competition.
It was a massive job for our coaches, who supervised the majority of the competitors - from CETC, Active Schools & Meadowmill recreational classes - & as always, did a brilliant job! Thank you coaches!
Thanks also to all our fantastic parent volunteers who did a variety of jobs yesterday - & without whom the competition would not have been able to run.
CETC ran a Tombola stall & Polar Bear Raffle at the event - & thanks to mums Lynne, Lesley & Helen, who manned the stall & raised some funds for the Club.
Thanks also to Enjoy Leisure staff who organised the event. The results will be uploaded under 'Competition Results' as soon as they are published.
