After a long- awaited return, the first ‘in person’ Club Championships in over 2 years, took place at Lasswade on  Sunday 4th December.

More than 60 CETC gymnasts took part in up to 3 different disciplines- Trampolining, DMT & Synchro- & it was fantastic to see gymnasts from all three current CETC venues, taking part in the event.
Gymnasts were marched in, accompanied by piper Cora, which added a very special touch to the start of the Event.

As always- it was a very well organised event- with Head Coach Lauren overseeing the preparations well in advance & on the day- & with volunteer coaches, parents & helpers making sure that the day ran smoothly.

Medals & certificates were awarded to each gymnast taking part in every discipline, with special Awards given to the overall winners of each category, together with the annual Club trophies & shields.

As voted by Club members- CETC ‘Senior Coach of the Year 2022’ is Anne Swift, & ‘Junior Coach of the Year 2022’ is Madeline Smith, & Ben Kean is 'Volunteer Coach of the Year 2022' – well done to you all!

Massive thanks to all our fab coaches & willing parents, who all helped out on the day, with a special mention to Vice-Chair Claire Allfrey who set up & managed the scoring system, wrote certificates & sourced medals.
Thanks also to CETC Chair, David Connolly, who opened & closed the Event with a short word of thanks to everyone involved.
Final thanks to all the parents, guardians & friends, who came along to spectate on the day, & support the Club & our brilliant young people! Thank you everyone!
