TRA, DMT & TUM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022

The TRA, DMT & TUM World Championships 2022 took place at the Armeets Arena, in Sofia, Bulgaria from 16th- 19th November.
The Event began with Qualifications in all disciplines on Wednesday 16th & Thursday 17th, followed by semi- finals in TRA & TUM & Finals for DMT & Teams, later in the week.
Well done to Scotland’s Kim Beattie from Banchory TRA & DMT Club, who finished in the DMT Senior Women’s Qualification round in 11th place.
Individual medals were won in Trampolining & Tumbling- with great results for the Teams: Silver for the Womens TRA Team, Bronze for the Womens DMT Team & Gold for both the Men & Womens Tumbling Teams! Well Done!
And to round off a very successful World Championships for GB- didn't they just go & win the All- Round Team event!!

Holly & Dylan Homeward Bound from Loule!

Congratulations to all the Scottish TRA, DMT & TUM gymnasts who took part in the Loule Cup 2022 in Portugal.
CETC gymnasts Holly & Dylan, both had a fantastic experience at their 1st International competition representing Scotland.
Dylan secured 18th place with his TRA routines - & Holly made it through to Saturday's DMT final - securing 6th place in the final results- well done Holly!
A brilliant experience at an International competition for both gymnasts- with hopefully many more to come!! 
 

Holly & Dylan Head to Portugal!

TRA, DMT & TUM gymnasts are heading off today (Wednesday) to Portugal, to compete at The Loule Cup 2022.
The competition will be held at the Municipal Sports Hall in Loule, Argarve, Portugal, from Thursday 27th – Saturday 29th October.
Two CETC gymnasts- HOLLY ALLFREY & DYLAN KILFEDDER are part of the 15- strong Team, who will represent Scotland at the Event.
This is the first International call-up for both gymnasts-who are very much looking forward to enjoying the experience.
CETC will be cheering on the whole Scotland Team- with a special massive GOOD LUCK to Holly & Dylan!!

Club Success - & Double Delight for Holly!

The final SG competition of 2022 - the Scottish National TRA & DMT Championships- was held at Bells Sports Centre, Perth on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September.
Only gymnasts who had qualified at SG competitions throughout the year were eligible to take part in this prestigious annual event.
CETC’s Holly Allfrey secured not only one- but 2 Scottish National titles- winning gold in the TRA Level 4 Women 15-16 group & also in the DMT FIG Women 15-16 group.
Fantastic results for all Holly’s hard work this season, & great prep for pre- competition training prior to her International debut at the Loule Cup, Portugal in October.
CETC is very proud to have a further 2 Scottish National Champions for 2022- Dylan Kilfedder who took the top spot for DMT in Men 15-16 Level 3 group. Dylan has also been selected for his first International at the Loule Cup next month - and Archie Lawson – who has been working his socks off this year- also claimed a Scottish Championship title in the TRA Level 3 Men 11-12 category.
Brilliant results boys – great to see all your hard work continuing to pay off!
Other CETC medal winners at the Championships were Kirsten Davie & Emma Hamilton who both won silver in their categories- DMT Level 2 Women 15-16 group, & DMT Level 1 Women 13+ respectively. Great results girls!
All CETC gymnasts taking part displayed some excellent routines & passes throughout the weekend competition. Well done to the following gymnasts who showed exactly why they had qualified for the Event in their respective categories:
TRA Olivia Fleming, Isla Stokes, Eilish Henderson, Sarah Murray, Kelly Wynne, Mathilda Ellis & Emma Forrest.
DMTEvie Munro, Olivia Fleming & Rachel Pettigrew.
Well done to all of these brilliant CETC TRA & DMT gymnasts-  who did themselves & the Club proud at the Championships.
Massive THANK YOU- as always- to our fantastic bunch of dedicated coaches - & our parent judges & officials – who all gave their time freely at the weekend - our gymnasts could not have participated without your help & support.

Scottish National TRA & DMT Championships 2022

The Scottish National TRA & DMT Championships 2022 will be held on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September at Bells Sports Centre, Perth.
