Four CETC Gymnasts were selected to represent Scotland at The Loule Cup, Portugal, from 11th- 12th October- Ciara Donlevy, Caitlin O’Brien, Kelly Wynne & Madeline Smith. Unfortunately Caitlin was unable to compete due to injury. This was the first time Scotland had entered a DMT Team at this event - & the results were excellent!
The Scotland Women’s DMT Team (Ciara, Kelly, Kim (Beattie) & Morgan (James)- won the Team Bronze medal – an excellent result against stiff competition from the other participating countries .
Kelly made the finals in the Womens 'Junior' DMT, finishing in a very well- deserved 5th place- in her first International DMT competition for Scotland! Madeline executed two excellent passes in the preliminaries in the '13-14yrs' category, sadly not making the final, but finishing in a very respectable 12th place – this was also her first International event for Scotland.
Ciara performed well in the 'Open' DMT category prelims, securing her place in the Final, where she came 8th.
The CETC & other Team Scotland gymnasts were well supported by family & friends from home at the event – a fantastic experience representing Scotland at International level for all the gymnasts! Well done Team Scotland!

Bring -a -Parent Week

A great week of DMT & TRA sessions for parents was held at Lasswade & Meadowmill from 18th - 24th November 2019!
Several Club parents took the opportunity to try out trampolining & DMT alongside their child. Some great talent was discovered amongst the adults - & several of them enjoyed it so much, that they signed up to the adults classes for next term!
It was great to see some ex- trampolinist parents re-living their youth - & discovering that they had remembered lots of the basics - even after all that time! They just weren't quite as flexible as they thought they were!
Thanks to all the parents who took part - & apologies to all the youngsters for any embarrassment caused!!!
