Great results for CETC at Scottish Nationals!

The Scottish National Championships 2019 were held at the Bells Sports Centre in Perth on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019.
CETC had 23 gymnasts competing at this event – after qualifying at various competitions throughout the year- with many of them competing in both trampoline and double mini.
This is the pinnacle annual event for Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling gymnasts on the Scottish calendar, and we are so proud of each and every one of them for qualifying to take part in the competition
All the gymnasts pushed themselves to do their best-  with some excellent results.

Special mention to Senior DMT gymnast CIARA DONLEVY who won the overall Senior Ladies DMT Scottish Championship title- & the DMT Tariff trophy for the highest pass tariff- CONGRATULATIONS!
Massive thanks to all our volunteer coaches, judges and officials as this event – as the Club couldn’t submit their entries to the event without your help!
Thank you to all the parents, guardians & team- mates for continually supporting our gymnasts at all the competitions throughout the year; your support is VERY much appreciated!

Five Head off to British Championships!

Five CETC DMT gymnasts are on their way south today for the British Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling Championships 2019, which take place this weekend (Sat 28th & Sun 29th September) at the Birmingham Arena.
The girls - Madeline Smith, Ava Harvey, Kelly Wynne, Ciara Donlevy & Caitlin O'Brien have all been training hard in preparation for the event, which precedes the Scottish National Championships next weekend in Perth.
The event can be followed on the BG website dedicated events page or on the BG Score app for phones & tablets.
Everyone at CETC sends you massive Good Luck for the competition this weekend! Go girls!!!

Tubing Fundraiser!

After a cancelled session a few weeks earlier due to high winds- CETC held a Tubing fundraiser at Midlothian Snowsport Centre, Hillend on Saturday 21st September 2019 - which was well attended by family & friends.
Thanks to Janis & Dougie for organising- & to everyone who supported the day.

SG August Nationals Qualifier

The final Scottish National Championships Qualifier of the year was held at Bells Sports Centre in Perth on 24th & 25th August 2019.
CETC had 44 gymnasts taking part in this event, with many competing at higher levels than in previous competitions, to try to gain scores to qualify at Scottish Nationals.
Despite it being a VERY hot weekend - all the gymnasts did very well- & pushed themselves to do their best - with lots of them competing routines & passes for the first time in competition.
Thank you to all our coaches, judges & officials at this event - as we couldn't submit our entries without you!
Also well done & thank you to all the CETC parents & team-mates in the audience - for being the loudest & most encouraging supporters at this event!
It really does make a big impact on our gymnasts! Well done everyone!
